Abstract

The use of adaptive headlight systems serves as a crucial development in automotive safety by adding more features than high beam headlights, which still need manual adjustment to avoid glare. As high beams can endanger other drivers, these systems make used smart technologies which change the power of the light being used and the direction it is pointed to in order to improve visibility for everyone. This paper analyzed important methods for efficient beam control while focusing on how these systems can be economically implemented on vehicles from different markets. As a result, adaptive headlights are shown to reduce nighttime accident rates and overall make driving safer for everyone.
